Reptiles that originate from the desert need natural sunlight to thrive. The Exo Reptile Glo 10.0 Tube UVB light will help to provide this light which provides Vitamin D3*. Special care should be taken with animals kept under high output UV lights because, if they are also taking a calcium supplement, they might absorb too much calcium.

*Vitamin D3 helps the body to absorb calcium for optimum bone health.

Reptiles are cold-blooded animals and also need the warmth of the UV lighting to function properly and need approximately 12 hours of light per day unless, of course, they are hibernating.

This light is effective up to 50cm (20”).

Please make a note of the installation date of the UVB light and replace it one year from installation.
